Brookvale Ceramics is located in Brookvale, within walking distance of Warringah Mall.
We have been operating for 20 years and teach Workshops and Classes in primarily Stone Sculpture and contemporary and traditional Ceramics. We have featured on the CHANNEL 7 's SYDNEY WEEKENDER program and twice on the childrens program TOTALLY WILD. We have also recently becom a finalist in the TRUE LOCAL BUSINESS AWARDS thanks to the votes of our customers.
CIasses cater for all levels of students, beginner to professional, Adults and Children. We teach an extensive range of techniques. Students work at their own pace and are given as much attention as needed by our friendly, fully qualified teachers. Our classroom is a stress free area where you can create, have fun, form new friendships and discover your hidden artistic talents.
Nola Kaney, owner of Brookvale Ceramics is a regular contributor to Australia's No.1 Ceramic Magazine, Australian Ceramics & Pottery. Her projects being used regularly by other studios to teach their students. Classes run for two and a half hours and for your convenience we hold morning, afternoon and evening classes.
CHILDRENS BIRTHDAY PARTIES AND SCHOOL HOLIDAY CLASSES
Childrens parties are very popular and are usually held on Saturday afternoon from 3.30-5.30pm. Cost is $35 per child. This covers everything exept food. We put up ballons and streamers and have 2 teachers helping the children all the way to create a lovely ceramic plate, bowl or jewellery box or anything of their choice. We then fire them, glaze them and refire them and they can be picked up a week later. The children have a great time. There isn't time for food during the painting so at the end they may have what every small amount of food you wish to bring. eg cake, drink, or just cup cakes. If there is time the birthday girl or boy can open the presents brought for them. These birthday parties are very easy on the parents. Parents of the birthday girl or boy can stay or go and come back at the end.
Book your kids in for one of our popular CHILDREN'S CLASSES during the SCHOOL HOLIDAYS. You are welcome to stay and paint with your children too. Classes are held on Monday,Wednesdays & Thursdays (2 classes per day) 10am-12pm or 1pm-3pm. Cost is $35 per child. All products and firings included. Children can choose from Ceramics, Clay Hand Building, Mosaics, Decopage. They love coming with their friends and it is also a great way for all the children in your family to participate in an activity together. One idea is to paint their own christmas gifts.
